But, unlike butterflies, moths go unnoticed because of their nocturnal nature, being hidden in the darkness.
Moths flock toward light.
They are triggered by it, trying ever so desperately to illuminate their beauty by flocking toward a porch light, a lantern or the moon.
Butterflies flock toward flowers. They're already illuminated by the sun, they don't need to flock toward it, and because of this they're invisible.
That's why I favor moths over butterflies.
To me, all butterflies look the same.
They all look like carbon-copies of one another.
Beautiful, pristine, perfect and patterned.
Their features do not have any kind of originality.
But, if you look at a moth, you will see true beauty that stands out.
They have a certain unique ability to catch your eye, you just need a lantern.
I've seen my share of butterflies and frankly wasted too much time chasing them, as I was ignored or used like the flowers they sip their nectar from.
When I started to pay more attention to moths, I was happy.
I felt true nirvana.
I realized that I was blind and shallow.
I didn't have my lantern.
I've held moths, I've only chased butterflies.
I have my lantern now.
You have your wings.
Won't you find me, and be my moth?

And you have a stunning gallery here.

Just don't say "everything is under control". It makes me feel like we're going to have an Apocalypse in five minutes.

That's some amazing photos you've taken for a camera phone.
